the twelve remaining girls, newly makeovered and fiercely dressed, strut into the judging room where they are greeted by CONSTANCE, who has her hair curled and is wearing a slim fitted hot pink dress. behind her, a very familiar face sits at the judging panel along with the other judges.
"Welcome Ladies, to your second elimination. Now I must say these makeovers have elevated you SO much, and you all look like working models now. So there is no excuse anymore, for an amateur photograph. You have a huge panel to impress, so it's time to get serious. First of all, lets talk about our prizes..."

You may see two new fierce faces on our panel... and one new one that I am honored to have here.
Your best friend in this industry and your toughest critic, Geneva Swasson.
He's sexy... he's noted... and he's a photographer... Moe Ndaye.
This week, we have the very own, KARIN ELOUAI (spellboundboy) guest judging you this week. Let's hope you made an impression on one of the most powerful women of the industry. This woman can make or break your career.
This week, you girls posed on a cloudy beach and worked with portraying different emotions. Now it’s time for your individual evaluations, and first up is Ursula.
Constance: Oh my. This is very disappointing, Ursula! It's such a shame too because your makeover has elevated you so much, and you're definitely the girl who is disappointing me the most this week. Your makeover shot is an absolute trainwreck, and this photograph isn't much better to be honest. It's just cheesy. The whole mascara running down your face with an overly dramatic sad emotion plastered on your face did may work in theory, but not in practice. What you need to do is study. Study study study. Study the difference between bad acting and good modeling, because you're lacking the latter at the moment. I know you have it, because you have a look that is totally in at the moment, but this proves nothing to me. Step it up, if you make it through this week, Ursula. - 4/10
Moe: I absolutely love your makeover, it really brings out your bone structure. I think your stylist went a bit overboard with the tears (keep everything sharp, bb! Pixels! No anti-alias/smoothness! This can be said for the technical aspect of your arms too. I think you should work on your posing/tracing before zooming in, rather than afterwards, or it is not going to be sharp and it is going to look messy.) On the up-side, there is something so Marilyn Monroe about this, and I love that. - 7/10
Geneva: The styling is overpowering you as a model. You look lost under all that make-up. It's a shame because, like Ellie, the styling could have really elevated your shot into something fantastic, but your expression just does not match the intensity such styling requires in order to pull it off. I adore your look, but this shot is very amateur and I HATE the hand on your temple, it is so tacky and melodramatic. - 4/10
Karin: I'm not feeling this shot either. You've got gorgeous eyes and a unique face; these will get you far in Fashion. However, the overdone sadness makes this look like a bad fragrance commercial or an ad for STD Awareness. Work on being subtle. Give MODELING emotions, not acting! - 2/10
Okay Ursula. Up next is Jolinne.
Constance: Want to know why I love you so much? Because I knew from the very start, when the public and the other judges doubted you, that you were capable of this. This is GORGEOUS, Jolinne, absolutely gorgeous. It's almost unbelievable how much of an improvement this is from your last photograph, and i'm so happy you took all of our advice onboard, the end result was you producing one of the best photographs this week. Your expression is absolutely gorgeous, and I love how you're not forcing the emotion but it's still very provocative and believable. I'm still seeing huge flaws in your technicality though, infact you've left a huge grey background fill in between your head and left arm! Luckily it blends in with the background so it isn't too noticeable, but you really got to work on cleaning up your editing skills to really become a threat in the competition. That is the area you lost marks from me. I know you have it, Jolinne, and if you keep improving there's no denying you could beat all these bitches down. Prove to the other judges this wasn't a fluke and make them see what I see. Good work. - 8.5/10
Moe: LOVE your pose. LOVE your expression. Don't love how un-pixely it is. For me, pixels are a big deal. Girl you need to get yo pixels together. If you need help with how to maintain sharp pixels whilst tracing/enlarging please ask the panel. Despite that, you really brought creativity to the shoot and it shows! - 9/10
Geneva: The angle of your face is quite flattering and pretty, and it intrigues me too, which gives the photo a level of interest that would not otherwise be there. What I really like about this shot is what you've done with your arms. This is not an easy pose to work, I have seen many girls attempt it and wind up looking like stiff fools. You have managed to pull it off, and I am very impressed. Perhaps you will prove me wrong about you. - 8.5/10
Karin: Gorgeous girl, and I think you kind of pulled of the different angle of not looking into the camera and being turned away. However, the brows and eyes are too extreme. You are gorgeous, but this shot screams bad actress to me. Just tone down the expression, nothing too extreme, but nothing too dull. You need to find that balance. - 5/10
Thank you, up next is Claudia.
Constance: YES! I knew this makeover would elevate you, Claudia. You look like a high fashion, alienesque, Eastern European beauty. The red hair was totally clashing with your features, it's almost like this is a different person. Looking at your photograph, this is a huge step up from last round! I can tell you really studied the brief, because I see a very powerful energy coming through your eyes, almost like you're praying in despair or something. BUT, I still have the need to bring up the one look wonder pony comment. I'm seeing the same thing, photograph after photograph. You need to learn how to give us variety in your expressions, especially your eyes. Don't be afraid to smize! Try experimenting with different facial angles and makeup. You definitely rose to the occasion this week and improved, now it's time to grow from a good model to a superb model. I think you can do it. Good work. - 8.5/10
Moe: In my opinion, your expression doesn't work. I felt it needed to be subtler, it questions my confidence with you on-set. Look at Svetlana to see what I mean about it being subtler. This isn't the most memorable picture for me, I struggle to find anything to comment on. Also, I'm not sure if your torso is facing forward or backward. I feel that if you are going to have your back to the camera, your head would not be head-on, and would at least be a 3/4 profile. - 3/10
Geneva: Little girl, are you lost? Do you need directions back to wherever the hell you came from? Because you look like you have absolutely no idea where you are, and more importantly it is evident you have no idea what you're doing. I don't know who told you the "I'm about to burst into tears" look was fashionable, but you need to cut them out of your life... after we cut you from this competition. - 2/10
Karin: This is one of my least favourites. You look so very terrified. It's just an awkward shot. You are a beautiful girl, but work on appearing less sad and scared. - 2/10
Alright, thank you Claudia. Come on up here, Zani.
Constance: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORKKKKK is all I can honestly say. My drop dropped when I first saw this photograph, Zani, it is by far my favouriite picture in the competition so far and high up there in my all time elouai picture favourites. You look sexy, sensual, in control, domineering and HIGH FASHION. You're using great body movement, evoking emotion from your face and selling the garment. What more can we ask for? This photograph proves that you are a force to be reckoned with in this competition and these girls should all be scared. You know how to model, and I feel you're just going to get better and better each and every week. Best photograph of the bunch, you should definitely be proud. I have NOTHING negative to say. Work! - 10/10
Moe: Stunning, couture, gawdesk. Technically, this is amazing, and I am very impressed at your attempt at that angle of the face, it's very hard to pull off, but I think it looks fantastic. Your nose looks undefined, perhaps a bit too blurry. Your pose is gorgeous. Your styling is gorgeous. This is incredibly creative and definitely one of my favourite Elouai pictures ever!! - 10/10
Geneva: Finally, a photograph that, if not matches, at least rivals Gisela's quality. Zani, this shot is beautiful and something to be proud of. There is such intensity in your expression, which amazes me. You have such strong features that could easily overpower the photo and make you look like a drag queen in heat, but you have reigned it in and the results are stunning. You are modelling the dress like a seasoned pro too, you really know how to make beautiful garments appear even more beautiful and THAT is the kind of model clients want to book. - 10/10
Karin: It's really gorgeous! It's an example of modeling an emotion. You're showing me tension and angst without looking upset or mad in your face. You're being subtle, but also saying a lot. This is a wonderful photo and I think you've got heaps of potential! - 10/10
Well done, Zani. The fifth girl to be evaluated is Karyna.
Constance: This is... just a mess. I see where you went and I can make out the idea you were going for, but my god, it did not work out at all honey. Your face looks flat and distorted and your body looks disjointed. In all honesty, the fabric is outshining you. It's such a shame, Karyna, because you were the fan favourite in casting and you've gone completely downhill since. You need to spend a little more time editing your photographs and switch to the pixel method, because your technicality in this picture is extremely poor. The only positive thing I can think of is that this makeover has definitely elevated you. If you make it through elimination, we need to see a redemption arc - because I know you have the potential. Thanks, Karyna. - 2.5/10
Moe: If you need help with how to maintain sharp pixels whilst tracing/enlarging please ask the panel. That is the main issue with this for me. I think you should work on your posing/tracing before zooming in, rather than afterwards, or it is not going to be sharp and it is going to look messy. I like where you went with this, I love the movement of the fabric, but the emotion and purpose is not there for me. You have such a gorgeous face. But if you make it through to further rounds, you need to 1) Use sharp, crisp pixels and 2) Concentrate on the main focus of the round and what the brief has asked of you. - 6/10
Geneva: *yawns* Do I really have to talk about this photo? It's so lifeless, I quite honestly despise it. Your expression? No. Your posing? No. What you're doing with the fabric? No. This photo is just a hot mess in my opinion. You have a face I do not understand or see any appeal, the other judges had faith you would be able to pull off amazing things and I've been waiting to be proven wrong. Photos like these do nothing but confirm what I already suspected: you do not have what it takes. - 2/10
Karin: I think you look really gorgeous in this shot! You're confident, sexy, and you're reall working it! Nicely done! - 10/10
Shadow, you’re next.
Constance: This is undeniably a fabulous photograph, Shadow. You are so mindblowingly gorgeous it's insane, and the way you pose and move is so ethereal. You have such an out of this world look, however I can't help but think you're relying on your genetics to deliver a good photograph. Your main flaw in this competition so far is your lack of range in expressions. I want you to really mix it up when it comes to angles and portraying emotions, because the one look wonder critique is the kiss of death in this competition for me. Moving on to other aspects of the photograph, I absolutely adore your editing style. It's perfect, looks natural and there's no overly sharp or smooth pixels. You excel in that area, so focus on changing up your expressions. I'm looking for a girl who can be versatile, a girl who can work in many different areas of fashion. I'm not convinced you're that girl yet. - 7/10
Moe: BRING IT, GURL. Emotional. High Fashion. Styled well. Gorgeous face. No negative critique other than (technically) be careful with those white pixels on your hair strands. Your styling is one of my favourites. Also, I freaking love your massive forehead. - 9.5/10
Geneva: Yet again... it's beautiful but it's bland. Just because you are looking ethereal does not mean you don't need energy. This is so soft it's limp. You need to learn how to deliver a soft photo while still being captivating and intriguing. Subtle things like facial expressions and posing can make all the difference, so you need to learn how to harness this all in and gain control of your face, your body, your LOOK. I love how you are working your hair, but that is it. I'm very disappointed. - 4/10
Karin: Very unique looking, which works great in this industry! The face is a little bit off to me, you're looking unfocused and spaced out. The body is stunning, though. I like the subtle sex appeal of the pose, but work on looking more strong and focused in the face. - 6/10
Thanks Shadow. Svetlana,
Constance: You are such an incredibly gorgeous girl, Svetlana, and this photograph proves this point to a tee. But in my opinion, you're also an incredibly "safe" girl, and I feel you're still resting on your genetics to produce a stellar photograph. While I can definitely see you're portraying emotion, there's no energy in your expression for me. It's almost like a cheesy actor still frame. I'm a real nazi towards girls who rest on their looks, so you need to get out of this habit. Show me edgy poses, unusual facial expressions, something unpredictable. Speaking of posing though, I really like the way you're using your arms in this shot. It would have been nice to see more of the fabric, but I like what you're doing. You're absolutely stunningly pretty, but if you keep resting on that - don't be suprised if you get a second makeover. I can promise you this one will involve scissors. - 6.5/10
Moe: There's a level of originality lacking in this picture, however, you look gorgeous and you brought exactly what was asked of the round. I feel like this is kind of a forgettable picture, I don't think you brought a lot of creativity despite following the brief. Also, you have to be careful on-set with your hands. In the future, try not to have your hands in "claw-like" positions, or it can ruin frames. Please bring more originality if you make it further, you can't rest on pretty pretty. - 5/10
Geneva: I FEEL something with this shot. Your facial expression is perfect in my opinion, there is a subtle sadness to your eyes that elevates the shot and gives it life; like a breath of fresh air. I really wish you had done something more with the garment though. Your face is a commodity, but it is also your job to use it to sell what the client wants to sell. You are forgetting about what is ultimately the most important element: the clothes. - 6/10
Karin: Is this the Industry as in the Fashion Industry or Acting? Again, this is another example of bad acting. The shot to me is just, cheezy. The furrowed brow makes you look like you're trying to look sad or mad. It's not a modeling-type emotions. Models don't necessarily give away too much emotion. When they do, it's subtle, but nonetheless there. Work on being more subtle with your expression. You are a gorgeous girl, and you're too modelesque to be an actress. - 5/10
Up next is Adele.
Constance: Adele, this is pretty. That's the first, and only word, that really comes to mind. I love the movement and how natural your posing is, but this was a beauty shoot - and your face, while beautiful, is lethargically bland. There's no emotion, and that's what we asked for. It's such a shame too, because if you had a bit of fire in your eyes, this could have been the best photograph of the bunch. Everything else is working but your expression, and that was your main fault last week also. You've got a fantastic new look, embrace that. You need to study the angles of your face and try and bring emotion through your eyes. Don't let us down next week, honey, we need to see improvement. - 6.5/10
Moe: Your styling, a.k.a. that bra-thing, is probably my least favourite, however, I love what you are doing with the fabric. The editing of the fabric I felt could be better, but the effort I definitely appreciate. I feel like the position of your arms could've been more sensual; the pseudo-perpendicular position they are in now seems kinda awkward. Look at Gisela's picture, her arms are in a similar position but there is more purpose behind the posing. If they were risen more I feel like your posing would've seemed less awkward. Your expression I also feel is weak, however, it is in the upper half in terms of comparison to the other contestants, who I felt went a bit overboard. You have such dark eyes, which are beautiful, and I feel you really bring the sensuality through them. - 5.5/10
Geneva: There is something very beautiful about this shot, but I'm afraid it's 90% genetics. This makeover has really elevated you, and I'll be honest Adele, I could have done without you before but with this divine new hair I am really excited about you. There is a very ethereal and zen feel about this photo, and I really appreciate how your posing looks relaxed instead of awkward, but with that face, I believe you could have done more, and a bit more strength in your face would have made this shot breathtaking. I do not want to see you settle for 'good' when you should be 'great'. - 7/10
Karin: This photo is gorgeous! I think the body language is so soft and fluid. Not forced or awkward. However, you should show a bit more life in the eyes, you look a bit sad and not focused in this shot. Work on expression. - 7/10
Next up is… Nereida.
Constance: Nereida: Personally I think this is a step down from last week, Nereida. While you look beautiful, your expression isn't evoking any sort of emotion at all. I just see a girl from the shopping mall plonked infront of a camera. However I will note the colour of your eyes are absolutely gorgeous and I love this angle of your face. What I think you need to do is start taking risks to set yourself out of the pack, because I think this kind of photograph will only get you past another 2 or 3 eliminations at the most. Bring us something dynamic, something unexpected. Something out of the box. I absolutely adored your photograph last week, but I kind of lost the love this photoshoot. Step it up and prove to me you didn't deliver a fluke last round. - 4.5/10
Moe: This picture would've been way better if you were enlarged and we could see your beauty closer. Though I think you have a bland expression, the rest of this picture is outstandingly edited (I love the blowing strands of hair). I hope you can bring more creativity to the competition if you make it further. You need to wow us with something different. I know you have the creativity in there. - 7.5/10
Geneva: Stunning girl, not so stunning photo. There is nothing dynamic or interesting about this shot. Your expression is the epitome of empty and there is NO beauty in that blankness. You have one of the best bodies in this competition but you are not using it to your advantage, there is no strength or energy in your posing. Clients pay you money to captive people, to grab someone's attention and appeal to them.I am telling you that with a photo like that, NO ONE would buy anything you're selling. It deserves no one's attention. I'm not impressed. - 3/10
Karin: You are a cute girl, but I don't think this shot is very interesting. I'm just not intrigued by you or this shot. Work on more interesting angles, and giving a little bit more facially. - 2/10
Now, Gisela, please step forward.
Constance: Yet another stellar photograph! Can you honestly do no wrong? I absolutely ADORE this photo, Gisela. It's dynamic, modern, poised, full of energy and most of all it evokes emotion without trying to hard. You're rocking that outfit and your fabulous new hair colour, and honestly it looks like you've been modeling for decades. I have absolutely no faults with this photograph, so all I can say is you've left me speechless. Fantastic. - 10/10
Moe: I was a big hater of your semi-final round, But you more than redeem yourself here (and last week was a well-deserved FCO though I (there was a sub judge) didn't comment last week and the semi-final round had no comments, but I am glad to finally express what I felt was a very overrated semi-final round photo. You completely missed the brief.). Anyway, I have nothing to say but... just fabulous. Your makeover really works for you and you make it work. You are such a black widow in this competition, I love your styling.
Geneva: Gisela, this is perfection personified. Your body language and your face are so cohesive, which gives this still photograph so much life and beauty. You have made this shot atmospheric and interesting. Not only could this be a campaign for a high-end brand, it would be a STUNNING campaign. This photo makes me believe I'm no longer wasting my time on you girls, so I thank you for giving me something to believe in. - 10/10
Karin: Gorgeous! Best of the week! Not too much, not too little. This shot is literally perfect! - 10/10
Alright, next up is Ellie.
Constance: Definitely a step up from last week! You're so insanely beautiful it's mind blowing, and I like that you're not just resting on your genetics here. You are showing emotion, and even though it might come across as a bit forced - you're still showing emotion, and that is what the brief asked for. The styling is cute, maybe a little too much, but atleast you took a risk. By the way, this hair is exceptionally gorgeous on you and the colour really brings out your eyes. My biggest critique with this photograph is I wish you filled the frame more symmetrically. You had a massive sheet to play with so it would have been nice to see you towards the other side of the frame with the sheet taking up most of the right part. Overall, a nice photograph that will go well in your portfolio, but there's still lots of room to improve. - 6.5/10
Moe: Gorgeous styling, it really suits you. Well done, for understanding your look! There's a gorgeous dramatic feel to this, that I enjoy. I love the editing of your neck area but I feel like your mouth is too tense. Also, you are not showing enough versatility regarding the expression of your eyes. Gorgeous job overall! - 9/10
Geneva: This photo has no impact on me. Your styling is wonderful, and with all those elements working for you I expected a photo that was haunting, heartbreaking even. Instead, I feel nothing. Ellie, there is NOTHING worse in this industry than leaving no impression on someone. Fashion should be evocative, and the fact you have left me this empty when there were SO many things working in your favour, when there was such potential for this to be emotionally resonating, is really worrisome. I'm afraid you just don't have 'it'. - 4/10
Karin: I think you are pretty, and you're showing great emotion, not a severe as other girls. However, I wish this would've been a more fashionable shot. You're so pretty, but I think you're too actressy. Work on not overdoing too much of your poses and expression. - 2/10
Finally, Jessica...
Constance: Fabulous. I'm really starting to like you Jessica, because I can already tell you're that girl that thinks outside the box and tries to deliver something different to what is predicted. I always appreciate risk taking, so keep doing what you're doing! This photograph is absolutely beautiful, you look so vulnerable and emotive, probably the most out of any girl. Plus, you're giving across the most natural emotion with your eyes shut, which is definitely a hard thing to do. I love your new hair, it makes you alot more versatile and you hardly look like the same person anymore. My only critique would be to really brush up on your technical aspects of editing, the white line around your hair is quite distracting. You have so much potential, don't lose your spark. Another gorgeous photograph from you, welll done. - 10/10
Moe: White. Area. Around. You. GURLLLLL!? That's some technical execution that could've been much better and the first thing I notice. In photoshop, you can use the magic wand tool to select all the white area and delete it. I kinda like the direction you took with this, the closed eyes. This picture has an emotional element which I think is creative. Overall, I think this is a good picture, instead of a dynamic or sensual picture, you've taken a completely different route and I like that. - 8/10
Geneva: I have to admit this shot caught my attention. The closed eyes give the photo a different energy which I respond very well to. I applaud you for taking a risk, that shows me you have balls and I respect girls with balls. However, your lips are bothering me far too much. There is no cohesion between that mouth and your otherwise beautiful facial expression. Save the trout-pout for slutty mirror pics, not for fashion shoots. - 7.5/10
Karin: I like that you're not looking into the camera, with closed eyes. It adds a lot of emotion in this shot. It's not overdone, which is great. I think you delivered a risky shot that worked well. - 10/10
THE JUDGES WILL NOW DELIBERATE AND DECIDE WHICH ONE OF YOU IS GOING HOME.
Thank you, Ladies.
Thank you, Ladies.
----
ELIMINATION UP TOMORROW. I'm so sorry for the delay guys, we're on a very intensive vacation schedule and i'm literally out of the hotel room between 8am and 11pm every day
Who do you think is going? I think this elimination may come as a shock TBH.
